About the Event

Power and control exist in all religious organizations. Such is needed for the organization's efficient operation for its members' benefit. However, humans lead organizations, and people are not perfect. To further an individual's personal power, sometimes a member tries to exploit the power of others, abusing a desirable organizational attribute for the member's self-serving purpose. This book helps organizational leaders, pastors, and church members recognize abusive power and provides the skills for recovery embrace recovery.

Author Nathan Davis served as a civilian psychologist in the US Air Force for 29 years. After retirement, he served as a minister and missionary for an evangelical organization. Nathan's expertise is in relationship skills, resilience skills, and crisis debriefing. He and his wife, Dr. Beth Davis, have taught and counseled in over 80 countries globally.
